Life In Check

January is for getting your life in check, I find this is when I start to think about things I really want to do this year and try and arrange some exciting things to look forward too. For example I just paid off my girls holiday, I'm excited as I think it will be funny to watch me in a place I really don't fit in. I'm not really sure why it's thought of as a quiet month as I seem to be just as busy.

I'm currently doing an events management project and trying to put on a successful event in 8 weeks as you can imagine is hard going. This day we went to a venue viewing so I wanted to be smart but also comfortable for my full day at uni. Black jeans and a cami make the perfect base for any outfit. I paired it with my flat knee highs as we had to walk to the location and although I've mastered heels pretty well I didn't fancy walking long distance. 

This blazer is what lifts the whole outfit. It really makes a statement taking this look from plain Jane to something far more interesting. Being part of a two piece it's nice to mix it up and wear it separately with different pieces.
