Lovely Perfume By Sarah Jessica Parker Review

There is a new fragrance in my growing collection and I thought I would tell you all about it. It's created by one of my favourite actresses purely for the classic we all know and love... Sex In The City!
Lovely as I've heard has actually just re-launched since it's 2005 release, so what a better time to talk about the fragrance. This set in particular came with the fragrance, a rollable, shower gel and a compact mirror. The packaging speaks to me, I'm a lover of light pinks and golds. I am also glad there isn't too much too it, like some massive flower or something too suggestive. It looks much more sophisticated how it is and the no fuss attitude is sometimes refreshing.

The scent is very pretty, young and likable. Although like me you are expecting a completely floral fragrance it does have a "dirty" edge which balances it out. I love a good sweet and fruity smell but this one is slightly different from the rest I think due to the musky finish. Something about it makes me want to throw on my summer dress, a pair of heels and frolic in a meadow somewhere! When first spritzed on to the skin it is very strong but once it has settled is when the magic happens.
I do think it works better in conjunction with the shower gel, more people seem to notice it on the skin. The rollable is handy in case you need to top up, so I would highly recommend the set if you are thinking of picking it up. It's definitely one to check out when you are next browsing the counter. I don't think it will be everyone's cup of tea, mostly because celebrity fragrances have a bad reputation but it isn't something that effects me and my choices. Let me know what you think!
