Olympus Pen E-PL7 Camera Review

With a few vlogs done on my brand new vlogging camera I felt I was ready to do a little review on the Olympus Pen E-PL7.
Firstly it's available in two colours - black and cream. I blatantly opted for the cream as I just preferred it and felt it looked more feminine. The style Olympus chose has a real vintage feel which I personally love, especially as it has all the new modern techy updates you would need. You can tell it's well made with a mixture of metals, leather effect materials and plastic.

It makes the perfect everyday camera being compact and easy to fit in a number of my handbags and even a few of my clutches. It is the perfect size for me but if you have larger hands this could get a little bit more tricky to use.

It's rather selfie-centered with a flip out screen so you can see yourself which brings it firmly into the 21st century. I find it very useful when filming or taking pictures to get a clear idea of what is in frame and ensuring its properly focused. I found the screen a bit difficult at first to work out however after having used it for a while now I can pop it in and out with ease. The screen is touch screen which I personally find a lot easier to use and means you can focus things quickly and easily on what you wish. The screen is also an easy size to see pictures you have taken and watch videos you have just recorded back. There are a mixtures of that and buttons however if this is your preferred method.

I'm very happy with the quality of both the imagery and video recording on this camera. Perfect for family or friends pictures but would happily post them here on my blog as I trust the clear outcome. With 16 mega-pixels its more than the average digital camera and you can always swap and change the lens if you seek higher requirements. I have also found this is ideal as the battery seems to last really well, I have vlogged a whole weekend on this including both videos and pictures and didn't have to recharge = result. I've found as well that it gives my face a lovely flawless effect which I'm loving, of course.

One of the major selling points for me was the fact the camera has wifi meaning I can upload images to my social media or send them over to have on my phone which is amazing, right? You can also play around with 25 scene modes or the 16 filters available if that kind of thing floats your boat.
