Return To Retro

So seventies is supposed to that trend thats going to be big this summer and for me I find it slightly intimidating. The platforms I can cope with especially being awfully short I could do with the extra height. However the flares, hippy vibes and vintage inspired pieces I'm not sure if are quiet for me so this is my attempt. Watching other people style it recently has been so nice to see but I feel like a cheerleader on the side line and wanted to join in on the action.

The bell sleeves on this and the fringed bag I think is as seventies as I will go but I'm digging it just as much. I love taking a trend and making it suitable for me, for me that is what makes fashion fun. For me clearly that is adding a bit of pink, that just makes the world a better place.

I went out for brunch in this with my friend Rachel and no believe it or not I'm not a middle aged housewife but honey I felt like I was. I do love going out with my girls though even the waitress asked "Is she always this glamorous" I was like hell yeah *flicks hair*! There is something I secretly enjoy about being the girl thats always slightly over dressed, anyone else with me on that? Although the high expectations sometimes is a lot of pressure to deliver.

Also the little pandora ring is a cute subtle finishing touch. I Just can't get enough their jewellery it is by far my favourite.
What I Wore:
